If you are a fan of the unique, though, then there is no tourist destination that is better for your adventures than the bottom of the sea.

Wreck diving is exciting, fascinating, and can be very mysterious as well. For colors and excitement, though, a coral reef is top notch and there is no coral reef better to explore than the Great Barrier Reef.

City Hall, Cavalcade of Lights Toronto

The City Hall of Toronto, Ontario, Canada is the home of the city's municipal government and one of its most distinctive landmarks. Designed by Finnish architect Viljo Revell and landscape architect Richard Strong, and engineered by Hannskarl Bandel, the building opened in 1965. It was built to replace Old City Hall, which was built in 1899. It’s located at Nathan Phillips Square, is actually Toronto’s fourth city hall and was built in order to replace the former city hall due to a shortage of space.

City hall is one of the main host of different festivals and events in Toronto. Great New Year celebration is held there every year including fireworks, sparkling & singing of different music bands. One of the other major festivals at Toronto city hall is the annual Cavalcade of Lights sets which is held from ends of November until end of December.

 

Cavalcade of Lights at Nathan Phillips Square has an impressive 43-year history in Toronto. The event was created in 1967 to showcase Toronto's newly constructed City Hall and Nathan Phillips Square.

This festive event traditionally falls on the final weekend of November to kick-off the holiday season with the official illumination of the Square and giant Christmas tree. The lighting display at Nathan Phillips Square is a 44-year holiday tradition featuring the official Christmas tree and more than 300,000 energy-efficient LED lights that shine from dusk to 11:00 p.m. every night throughout the holiday season

Angkor Wat

Angkor Wat is a temple located in Angkor Cambodia. The temple, which is a popular tourist attraction, was built for King Suryavarman II during the early 12th century. This temple began as the king’s state temple and capital city.  The main temple is only part of an entire complex of temples and ancient ruins. The entire Angkor Wat complex is actually made up of several different temples. The largest, and the most preserved temple, the main Angkor Wat, is the only one that has undergone a degree of changes in its religious significance during its lifetime. It is also the only one of the older temples that is currently in use as well as being open for visitors.

Angkor Wat is one of the temples of Angkor, and is located in the southernmost area of the group. The main construction on the temple took place during the first half of the twelfth century. The temple was dedicated to Vishru, but there is no information that can be found on the temple itself, either on the foundation or anywhere else, to give historians an idea of what the original name of the temple might have been.  The best guess is that it was called Vrah Vishnulok, which would have been the title given to it after the deity that presided there. Today is it referred to as Angkor Wat, which means “temple of the city.”

Mulu Caves Malaysia

The Mulu Caves are located in the Gunung Mulu National Park in Malaysian Borneo. The park encompasses incredible caves and karst formations in a mountainous equatorial rainforest setting. The Sarawak chamber found in one of the underground caves is the largest cave chamber in the world. It has been said that the chamber is so big that it could accommodate about 40 Boeing 747s, without overlapping their wings. The enormous colony of Wrinkle-lipped bats in the nearby Deer Cave exit almost every evening in search of food in a spectacular exodus.

The numbers are excellent, nowhere is this cave shorter than 90 m in height.  The cave is home to millions and millions of bats and their droppings are seen all over the place, so one needs to take care of that.
